We love hanging out with really smart people. Which is why when we’re not at the office you can usually find us hanging at the Particle Accelerator Building up at the university. It’s also why we got involved with TEDxYYC. Based on the premise Ideas Worth Sharing, TEDx events take place around the world and include speakers sharing worthwhile ideas – they really nailed their positioning line. The Calgary event featured a diverse range of speakers, including a failure-loving engineer and a guy who spent two years living in garbage. Obviously we fit right in, so much so, they let us take the x from TEDxYYC. Don’t worry TED, we’ll bring it back next year.
