WAX would like to congratulate our very own Monique Gamache, for her recent win during Veer.com‘s Lightboxing match. Her simple design for a fictitious ninja school took top honours. “The idea that losing is deadly hits home for me – with design being such a cut-throat industry, and all”, says Gamache. Okay, Gamache didn’t really say this. But if you think about it, it makes sense. No matter how good you are – be it design, advertising or hell even swordplay, you’re only as good as your last poster, ad or fight. Oh, who are we kidding, we have no idea what we’re saying. However if you love design as much as we do and you have a competitive edge beyond the ordinary, we’d love to hear from you.
